"Meowice in Wonderland"
This is the newest Cat Movie Poster - Meowice in Wonderland. Alice in Wonderland was always one of my favorite stories. I read it over and over until my copy fell apart.
This is the sketch of the poster. The final size will be 20x24 inches. The medium in colored pencil on Strathmore velum drawing paper.
Each part was drawn on tissue paper and arranged to form the final layout.

Now I have started the coloring process. I usually don't add "people" hair, but I think Meowice looks cute in her blonde wig.
The March Hare.. I mean March Kitty. He has taped rabbit ears to his hat.
Ah.. the Door Mouse. I always felt sorry for the poor door mouse. He was picked on and shoved in the teapot. All he wanted was a nap!

The flowers are staring at me.
More flowers and a rabbit's behind.
The grass is complete and the rabbit has a table cloth to hide under. The hookah has been changed a bit to make it pop and the CATapillar has whiskers of his face and down his spine.
